Working together for safety and equality

The firefighting world is changing, and this is a positive development that deserves our full commitment. Women are playing an increasingly important role in the ranks of the fire service and it is time to recognise and promote their needs and valuable participation. We are focussing on this issue, not only in words but also in deeds.

A future with customised security

We pride ourselves on not only putting out fires, but also removing barriers. A central focus of our vision is to design our firefighting clothing to meet the requirements and needs of all members – regardless of gender or body type. We are determined to take into account the individual requirements of women in the fire service in order to provide them with the best possible equipment.

Research for the future: Joint innovation

We go one step further to understand and promote the experiences and needs of women in the fire service. In collaboration with our dedicated working student, we are actively conducting research that focuses on the needs and experiences of women firefighters. This approach enables us to target change and develop innovative solutions that meet the needs.

Partnerships for change: SAFETYTOUR and more

We believe in collaborations that drive change. In collaboration with SAFETYTOUR, we have already launched various projects to support and promote the topic of „women in the fire service“. From workshops to empower women in command to diversity training, our partnership is an example of how collaborative efforts can drive real change.

Federal Women's Congress in Lemgo: A milestone

Another notable step towards equal rights is the upcoming 29th Federal Congress of the Network of Women Firefighters in the Fire Service, which is being held in Lemgo this year. We are proud to support and actively participate in this important event. The congress will provide space for discussion, exchange of best practices and strengthening the female presence in the fire service. It is an opportunity to learn from each other and move forward together.

The future of the fire service is colourful and diverse. We are proud to contribute to this and to support women in the fire service. Together, we are shaping a world where everyone, regardless of gender, has the opportunity to do heroic deeds and protect our community. 🔥🚒
