SWISSGARD 2.0

We have given our SWISSGARD an upgrade.

First a few points about the design. The design is fresh and modern and also follows the anatomy: How? Through more modelling of the human body. So you are better recognised in action. In addition, the radio pockets on the SWISSGARD 2.0 are attached and not inserted, as this is more comfortable and practical.

But it’s not just the look that has changed.
We have used PRX Airflow in key areas such as the shoulders, knees and elbows. The material is completely breathable and cushions the entire surface. It is also particularly movement-friendly and continuous, so you are protected from sharp edges. This is a decisive advantage over normal PRX plates, as these have no transitions between the individual knee pad elements and sharp objects can get through.

Abrasion protection

Something has also changed in terms of abrasion protection. Instead of chequer plate, the SWISSGARD 2.0 now has Cerahex. In contrast to conventional aramid/silicone, this is significantly more abrasion-resistant, lighter, more flexible and more breathable and still easily fulfils EN 1149-5:2018.

The outer fabric of the SWISSGARD 2.0 has been improved and therefore has better strength values than its predecessor. What hasn’t changed? The beautiful, bright red colour!
