Flood aid

Normally we deal with cheerful topics such as trade fairs, SAFETYTOURS or new products on our blog. But this time we have deliberately chosen a different topic. A topic that will stay with us all and will keep the firefighting industry busy for some time to come.

The unbelievable happened in mid-July.

Something that is still incomprehensible today and that will take some time to come to terms with. Time to come to terms with it, but also to clear the rubble and help people as best we can.

It was precisely during this time, however, that we realised one thing: especially in difficult moments, solidarity is enormous! Everyone, even those who were not directly affected, tried to help and are still doing so. Appeals for donations, both in cash and in kind, were launched, accommodation was made available, people worked and helped for hours on end, clothing and equipment was given away and borrowed and much more…

At that moment, there was no longer a you and me, but only a WE.
TOGETHER we helped and achieved a lot!

We also tried to do our bit and donated our clothing to fire brigades. Our sales representative Jürgen Knorr jumped straight into a van and drove round and delivered to many fire brigades over the course of several days. Many thanks Jürgen.

It was nowhere near as bad in our district as in other areas. Nevertheless, many houses and facilities were damaged and flooded here too. Including our warehouse in Dremmen.

Property damage is one thing… entire livelihoods were destroyed. This has to be dealt with first. But what affects us all even more are the people who have lost their lives. Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones and we know that nothing can replace the loss.

WE can do this!
