The participant receives basic information on rescuing horses from typical situations that occur in stables, during transport and when travelling with horses. Horses are strong and very defensive animals. Rescuing them can be complicated and dangerous.

- Communication and behaviour of the horse
- many examples of successful rescues and the relevant know-how
- practical exercises for rearing, leading the horse and, if necessary, handling the harness
- Dealing with horses in the event of a disaster

- All firefighters who have completed basic training
