The lightweight, elastic NANO flame-retardant hood from S-GARD offers optimum flame and particle protection as well as a very high level of comfort. Its ultra-dense Nomex® Nano Flex material is impervious to soot particles up to a size of 0.2 micrometres. The new flame-retardant hood therefore offers significantly better particle protection than conventional flame-retardant hoods and Dutch cloths. The highly elastic Nomex® special material is extremely heat and flame resistant and at the same time highly breathable. This allows body heat to be better dissipated to the outside. Special flat seams also ensure a high level of comfort and prevent pressure points from forming at the seams. The face opening is perfectly enclosed by an elastic band. The NANO flame-retardant hood 2.0 is certified according to DIN EN 13911:2017.
