We would like to thank Feuerwehr-Magazin for the great and exciting article! And we are very proud of it: it shows us once again that our efforts in the product development of the ULTIMATE series with Gore have paid off.
Equipped with our ULTIMATE turnout jackets and trousers with GORE® PARALLON™ system, the Brunsbüttel fire brigade took to a converted fire training ship. The task was to extinguish the fire and rescue casualties. The example of the Brunsbüttel fire brigade shows what both the emergency services and the clothing have to do during an operation under the influence of heat, stress and ambient humidity.
We work closely with our partner Gore to ensure that firefighters are fully protected in such extreme situations. Together we test new technologies and further develop products in a targeted manner. The revolutionary highlight of this collaboration is the ULTIMATE series – the new generation of protective clothing.
The report also explains how the GORE® PARALLON™ system is put together: Two breathable membranes, with thermal insulation sitting between them, form the basis of the system. This provides a wide range of benefits in terms of protection and freedom of movement, reliably protecting the wearer from extremely high temperatures and the associated risks.
