S-GARD SAFETYTOUR SPECIAL at Interschutz

The Safetytour Special at Interschutz in June 2020 will focus on technical content from the areas of fire protection, personal rescue and technical assistance. Under the expert guidance of experienced trainers, you and your seven team members will face a wide variety of challenges: a child is trapped in a sand pit, a person is trapped under a bus, flammable material endangers a railway site.

There are two Safety Tour Specials in total: one in the morning with six 30-minute scenarios and one in the afternoon with four 45-minute scenarios. The morning event is aimed exclusively at firefighters, the afternoon event at firefighters and rescue services. You can secure tickets for both events at eventbrite.de. The price is EUR 69.90 per event. But that’s not all! The price also includes a day ticket for the Interschutz trade fair, your own S-GARD flame protection bonnet, a personalised cloakroom bag and the Quickcheck information brochure published by ECOMED. You must bring your own helmet, boots and gloves. You will receive protective clothing and a breathing apparatus from the S-GARD team on site.

Before the event starts, you will meet the other team members in the S-GARD outdoor area at the East Entrance to Interschutz. You will receive a day ticket for the trade fair and go to the registration desk in Hall 11, where you will be given your breathing apparatus and protective clothing. The S-GARD trainers will then pick you up – the event begins! Each team consists of eight team members who either work for the fire brigade, the rescue service or in emergency medicine. The times for the events are 7.30 am to 12.25 pm (morning event for firefighters) and 12.00 pm to 4.30 pm (afternoon event for firefighters and paramedics). Anyone who has successfully completed basic firefighting training and respiratory protection training may take part in the Safetytour Special. You must also have a valid G 26.3 (occupational medical examination for firefighters). As places for both events are limited, early registration is recommended. You can either register alone or in a group. The S-GARD trainers will allocate the groups on site at Interschutz in June 2020.

The Safetytour Special is organised by the Heinsberg-based company S-GARD. S-GARD is a family business and market leader in its fourth generation. We develop and produce firefighter clothing, protective clothing and technical aids. The S-GARD trainers are experienced practitioners from all over Germany.
